Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The case is in oak with mahogany cross banding and shell inlay to the trunk door and base.
It has subsidiary seconds dial and a date aperture.

The case is in good original condition. It has a small amount of old wood worm holes to some non-visible parts, these look long dead but have been treated anyway.
The movement is in good condition, running well and keeping good time.
