Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Westminster Chiming Longcase Grandfather Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

A good quality longcase clock fitted with a musical movement chiming the quarters on 4 tubular bells and the hours on an additional bell. The movement is of high quality and has a dead beat escapement and Harrison maintaining power. It has a brass dial with silvered chapter ring and gilt spandrels. It also has subsidiary seconds dial, strike/silent selector.

The case is also of good quality, it is veneered in mahogany with marquetry decoration. The hood has side frets and a swan neck pediment with brass ball finial. Both the trunk and hood have their original working locks and keys.

The movement is in perfect working order and keeping good time. The case is also in good original condition and has retained its original finish.

The maximum dimensions are:

237cm (93.25“) high excluding finial

52cm (20.5“) wide

34cm (13.5“) deep

Free local delivery and set up (70mls), national and international delivery arranged at cost.

All in all a nice quality clock in good original condition
