A Late 19th Century Carriage Clock Timepiece

A fine late 19th century French gilt brass carriage clock timepiece, the ornate case with a bold carrying handle over a rectangular bevelled viewing glass, with turned finials over an applied frieze, fluted uprights and a frieze plinth base of stylised flowers, with an engine turned silvered mask around an ivory coloured enamel dial with Arabic numerals and with blued steel hands, all standing on turned feet. The eight day single train movement with its original jewelled English lever escapement with fast/slow adjustment. French, made for the British market, circa 1890.
 
Condition: Excellent. The clock has been fully serviced and is in full working condition. Supplied with a key.
