19th Cent Oak & Mahogany Longcase Clock

Description

A pretty little cottage longcase clock. The case is in oak with mahogany veneer to the hood. It stands on bracket feet and has reeded canted corners to the trunk. The trunk door has retained its original lock and key.

The hood has slim reeded columns with brass capitals and an elegant swan neck pediment with brass patria and a eagle finial.

The good quality 30hr movement strikes the hours on a bell. It has an attractively painted dial with working date indicator.

The case is in nice original condition and the movement is in good working order and complete with pendulum, weight and bell.

The maximum dimensions are:

46cm(18“) wide

206cm(81“) high (excluding finial)

23cm(9“) deep
