Description

Circa 1870, French polished slate, malachite and gilt bronze 3 piece clock garniture. With stepped platform top to the clock accented by gilt bronze classical motifs including a female head above a large dial, lion mask handles to either side, and lower floral wreaths. The dial has a central malachite circle, with Roman numerals and indistinct marks. On a stepped base with flower swags and movement stamped SF & JD/ 11147. The pair of urns have polished slate tops on a gilt bronze stand and stepped bases with a central malachite panel; they are 22 cm high.
