Description

In the many years we have been dealing in fine clocks we have not seen one quite like this . A beautiful little clock which has Day and Date sub dials (In French ) J.Silvani of Paris was recorded working from around 1835 and made some very decorative and important clocks . The design of this particular clock is like no other and remains entirely original . The silvered dial is signed and engraved, the case is Ebony with brass inlaid and engraved with a fine decorative handle to the arched top . Circa 1840 . Sold fully restored which involves completely dismantling the movement , removing the springs , de-greasing and re-greasing , ultrasonically cleaning all parts and giving our Guarantee .
