8 Inch Dial Wall Clock

Description

A good example of an 8 inch dial clock, dating to the late 19th Century. The walnut case is of traditional pegged construction, with a cock-beaded base door. The painted enamel dial is signed by the original retailer, Rowe of Marlow. It has an 8 day pendulum movement made by W & H.

Frederick Rowe is listed as working in Great Marlow 1869-1877.

The case and dial are in excellent condition, the surround has been re-polished and wax finished.The movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
