A late 19th century, French, cut brass inlaid red tortoiseshell mantel clock in the Louis XIV style, of small size. The tortoiseshell and cut brass inlaid case surmounted by a fruit filled vase, the gilt dial with enamel Roman numeral tablets, with the eight day movement, numbered 608, rack striking the hour & half hour on a bell. The whole dressed with re-gilded bronze mounts.
