A very fine large Edwardian 8 day angled case car clock by S Smith and Son, of 9 Strand, London dating to around 1913-1915.

In superb condition throughout, the movement fully serviced. The polished brass case and enamel dial is in wonderful condition, with just light scratches to the original bevelled glass. S Smith & Son is recorded working at 9, Strand, London from 1913.

A superb item, a perfect desk accessory and statement piece; also a useful paperweight. One benefit on the angled case is the time can be read easily close up and also from a distance.
