Description

A late Victorian rosewood mantel clock of architectural form. The case has a pitched top an enamel dial flanked by reeded columns. The beautifully painted dial depicts nesting birds with Arabic numerals and has a copper surround with a thick bevel edge glass. It has a French 8 day movement that strikes the hours and halves on a gong that was made by Japy Frere.

Condition:

The case is in excellent condition, slight veneer repairs to top sections ( see images) the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock please email us.
