George II Lantern Alarm Clock Housed in a Perfectly Proportioned Original Oak Case

Description

It is most likely that this charming ‘hook and spike’ lantern alarm, circa 1750, was originally commissioned or simply purchased to have its very own case tailor-made. The case has its original seat board with concave recesses in witch to place the lantern clocks original bun feet. It is beyond reasonable doubt to assert that the case and lantern are original to one and all.
