A Rare American Bulova for B F Goodrich, Tyre Maker, Small Desk Watch, Circa 1950

1940 - 1960
Description

For sale a very rare motoring related small desk watch, made by Bulova for the B F Goodrich rubber and tyre company, circa 1950. Made as an automobile wheel and rubber tyre, the centre section fitted with a fully signed Bulova watch movement and dial. The movement is a 16 jewel Bulova 10AK and is in very fine original condition and full working order. Diameter 52mm and 1mm deep. I have been unable to find another. I suspect these were give out as samples or gifts to suppliers of the Goodrich tyres for a limited period only. A must for any collector of historical motoring memorabilia.
