fine quality small longcase grandfather / grandmother clock - Elliots of Croydon, circa 1930.

this super clock has three large brass weights, 8 day movement, Westminster chimes with strike / silent feature , striking on every quarter hour and on the hour on four gongs.

The hood having swan neck pediment, arched door, brass face with silvered chapter ring, the lovely slim case is made of nicely figured mahogany with reeded canted corners and attractive carved details and stands on ball and claw feet.

normal minor marks / scuffs commensurate with age and use but overall this super clock needs to be seen ( and heard !! ) to be fully appreciated.
