19th Cent "Bristol" Mahogany Long Case Grandfather Clock

19th century
Description

A nice quality longcase clock by the Bristol maker P Pedrene. He is listed working there from 1835. The case is in well figured mahogany but it does need a bit of restoration.

The good points are that it looks all original and the movement has been serviced, it is running well and keeping good time. The case has nice cast brass Corinthian capitals to the hood and trunk

The main areas that need attention are the hood door surround and the arch above the dial. There are also a couple of pieces of moulding missing from the base.

The maximum dimensions are:

202cm (79.5") high

49cm (19") wide

23cm (9") deep
