A late 19th century French gilt brass carriage clock timepiece of large scale, in a satin finish corniche case with carrying handle, with a white enamel dial with Roman numerals and a ring of minute markers around, a bevelled oval viewing glass revealing the platform (replaced), and with a back door to the winding mechanism. French, circa 1890. Height including handle 7” (18 cm)
 
Condition: Fully overhauled and in good working condition. The case has its original satin gilding and has been relacquered. Supplied with a key.
