Superb Welsh oak press cupboard, the upper section with a bold cornice above a frieze with a rare design (inlaid in holly and bog oak) of a running pattern featuring the Celtic comma motif. The cupboard doors have oval cock-beaded panels and are flanked by fluted corners, over a fitted secretaire drawer. The base section has three long drawers and is raised on shaped bracket feet.
