Superb Welsh oak press cupboard, the upper section with a bold cornice above a frieze with a rare design (inlaid in holly and bog oak) of a running pattern featuring the Celtic comma motif. The cupboard doors have oval cock-beaded panels and are flanked by fluted corners, over a fitted secretaire drawer. The base section has three long drawers and is raised on shaped bracket feet.

(Replaced handles, one rear foot, some backboards, minor replacements to secretaire interior, small patches to some drawers)
