Rare Ww2 Smiths Raf Issued Small Wall 8 Day Wall Clock, Dated 1943

Description

 For sale this rare WW2 Smiths RAF issued small 8-day wall clock, dated 1943. This fine original and unrestored example is from a seldom encounter group of Smiths issued RAF wall clocks, this example with the small, approx 14cm diameter dial, and with its full set of Air Ministry markings to the movement and case back. The diameter of the back plate is 28cm diameter and approx. 6.3cm deep.  Other identical examples are known, see page 148, British Military Timepieces by Konrad Knirim.  The clock is in full working order and keeping time.
