Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
It has a superb quality mahogany case with fish scale side frets and original carrying handle. It also has lovely gilt brass quadrant molding to the inside and outside of the front door.

The five pillar twin fusee movement has shouldered plates and its original verge escapement. It has a cream painted dial and fine cut steel hands. It also has a strike silent dial to the arch.
The case is in superb condition and a beautiful colour. The front door has its original lock and key.
The movement is in working order but lacking its pendulum.
