Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The light oak case retains it's original French-polished finish with a lovely, age related patina. Two side opening fretted doors and a brass surround front opening door with heavy bevelled glass.
Original finely cut black steel hands.

The 8 day movement has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual full parts and labour guarantee. The clock strikes with a double "ting-tang" on the quarters, and the hours on a serarate gong. It has a beautiful mellow tone. Complete with original winding key (always a good sign that a clock has been well looked after from new).
All cards accepted.
