Description

A lovely painted metal clock dial with original hands signed Lepaute Paris. Found in a French industrial building, it bares the scars of a hard life. Originally a mechanical movement by the famed maker Lepaute, this was mostly missing, our clockmaker has skillfully fitted a quartz movement, retaining the original hands and winding shaft. Hands are copper with a lovely original patina. 9 2/4" diameter.
