Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the 1750s.
The case is of lovely slim proportions and is in excellent condition.
It also has some unusual turned decoration to the centre.
The movement is in good running order. It strikes the hours on a bell and the date indicator is working. However, as with all single handed clocks don’t expect to set your watch buy it.
