A late 19th century French gilt brass carriage clock retailed by Harrod’s Ltd, in a corniche case with a carrying handle and oval viewing glass over the balance wheel, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands, with the retailers name and address beneath, along with ‘Made in Paris’; the movement behind a glazed door with non-parallel winding arbours and a coiled gong. Fully serviced and in full working order, and presented in a leather clad outer case with a glass front panel, the handle lacking. French circa 1895. Height of clock including carrying handle 6.25” (16 cm)
