The break arch dial is Signed "Farthing of Muthill", it has subsidary seconds and date dials. The movement is 8 day and strikes the hours on a bell. Inside the trunk of the case is a letter refering to the battle of the Callodun, but this clock is of a later date, however the letter may be an indication of the clocks provenence. (Muthill is near Perth)
