French Louis XV Style Green Tortoiseshell Boulle Mantel Clock

Description

A good example of a French boulle mantel clock inscribed Payne and co , New Bond Street, London.

The clock has an eight day movement and strikes hourly and half hourly.

Original key and pendulum.

There are signs of slight lifting of the boulle on the reverse of the clock but overall the condition is good.

The clock is in working order.
