19th Cent French Oval Four Glass Clock

Description

An unusual variation on the standard four glass clock in that it has an oval case.

The nice quality case is in gilt brass with nice quality bevelled glass panels with doors to the front, rear.

The excellent quality 8 day movement strikes the half hours and hours on a coiled steel gong. It has a very attractive white enamelled dial with fine gilt hands and nice floral painting. It also has a nice large "regulator" style pendulum.

The case with all the glass panels are in good condition. It is in good working order and keeping good time.

The maximum dimensions are:

29cm (11") high

20cm (8") wide

17cm (6.5") deep
