Musical Burr Walnut Bracket Clock

19th century
Description

This is a most impressive bracket clock dating from around 1860-1880. It has a substantial 3 train musical fusee movement. It chimes the quarters on 8 bells and the hours on a gong.

The case is fantastic quality and veneered is beautiful burr walnut. The carved decoration is also wonderful quality. The clock stands on an associated walnut bracket.

The silvered dial has some nice engraving and the all important strike/silent selector. It also has regulation from a subsidiary dial.

The case is in excellent condition and the movement is in good working order with all the functions working

The maximum dimensions (excluding bracket) are:

48cm(19“) wide

70cm(27.5“) high

29cm(11.5“) deep
