Behind a French eight day two train movement with outside count wheel striking the hours and half hours on a bell, signed Planchons à Paris. The dial, marked Viger à Paris, has probably been taken from an earlier clock. Condition overall good, with small chips to the enamel around the left hand winding hole, and minor retouching to the gilt highlights on the case. The movement has been fully serviced and is in full working condition, and the clock is supplied with pendulum and key. French, circa 1870
