An elegant Edwardian mantle clock timepiece in a mahogany case with boxwood stringing and inlaid with rosewood and satinwood. The 3.5” (9 cm) enamel dial has hours in Roman numerals and Arabic quarter hours, within a brass bezel. The arched mahogany case stands on a moulded plinth with brass feet. Inside the Swiss eight day movement is fitted with a key and hands winder, with the platform at its base; it has a fitted brass cover. The case is nicely figured with a good colour and the clock has been fully serviced and is in good working order. English, with a Swiss movement, circa 1910.
