Huge French Bronze & Marble 8 Day Clock

Description

Huge mid to late 19th century French 8 day clock. The clock is made from bronze, marble and slate with ebonised wooden base with brass ball feet. The clock has a white enamel face with gilded brass surrounds. The clock movement is French and made by one of the top Paris makers as stamped to the back and is an 8 day movement striking on a bell at the hour and half hour. The bronze is of very good quality with exceptional detail. There is a small hairline crack to the slate at one corner otherwise the clock is in very good condition. The movement has been fully cleaned and serviced. Please bear in mind it is very heavy.

SIZE; 35" long by 11" deep by 19" high. The clock face is 6" diameter
