Antique silver Waltham Traveler pocket watch, 1918.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 20604380 dates it back to 1916. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both case backs for Birmingham 1918 with a maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison who was heavily involved in Waltham before emigrating to the UK to set up a watch case manufacturing company. The case is in nice condition with only mild bruising to the back.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Waltham, U.S.A. The dial has a couple of very faint hairline cracks between the sub seconds dial and 4 o,clock although hardly noticeable.

The watch has its original gold hands and blued steel sub seconds hand.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
