The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The watch has a high grade Stauffer movement with jewelled pallets. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case is also engraved with The Time O, Day. The case is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark from use.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in nice condition.
The dial is signed Russells Ltd, 18 Church Street, Liverpool. The dial is in nice condition .

The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch & chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
