The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has an automatic 20-jewel movement, calibre 471, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 16,409,279 dates it back to around 1959.
The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is rose gold capped and is in good condition.
The back of the watch has the Seamaster logo and it states that the watch is waterproof although it should be kept away from water. There are also engraved initials LJP and the date 25-12-63.

The watch has an Omega winding crown, a little yellower in colour than the case so a possible later replacement.
The lens is in good condition.
The dial has been professionally refinished at some stage and it is in very nice condition. Original rose gold coloured dauphine shaped hands and centre seconds hand.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
