Edwardian Mahogany and Inlay Striking Mantel Clock (England and France, C. 1900)

Description

A solid mahogany Sheraton revival mantel clock dating to the late 19th/early 20th Century. It has a break arch shape case, with an inlaid satinwood shell and boxwood stringing, brass lion mask handles and brass bun feet. The clock has a bevel edge convex glass, with a finely embossed bezel, an enamel dial and fancy brass hands. The dial is signed by the original retailers Milfords & Sons, St Martins Lane, London. It has a French 8 day gong striking movement made by Marti.

Current Condition

The case is in excellent original condition, the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like an email clip of this clock striking please email us.
