Scottish Oak Cased 8 Day Longcase Clock

Description

Early 19th century Scottish oak cased 8 day longcase clock by JOHN HOOD of CUPAR in full working order. Painted dial with Scottish historical characters in each corner, original gilded brass hands with thistle decoration. The clock case is in pretty good original condition except for an old crack to the base. The movement has been fully serviced and is in full working order. The clock is a good size being not too tall but still typical east coast slender proportions.
