9ct gold Invicta mid-size wrist watch by Seeland Watch Co.

The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed by the Seeland Watch Co who first registered the Invicta brand name in 1896. There are some empty retaining screw holes to the movement, the screws are not required because the movement is held in place by the fitted case back.

The watch measures 28mm wide excluding the winding crown and 28mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for London 1946. The case is in good condition. The back of the watch has an attractive inscription commemorating a 21st birthday in 1947.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in good original condition with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
