The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed by the Seeland Watch Co who first registered the Invicta brand name in 1896.

The watch measures 28mm wide excluding the winding crown and 28mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for London 1946. The case is in good condition. The back of the watch has an attractive inscription commemorating a 21st birthday in 1947.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in good original condition with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
