Antique 1912 Waltham pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement , grade 610, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number, 18828213 dates it back to 1912. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific manufacturer of cases who supplied Waltham UK. The case has light surface marking from use and some mild bruising to the back cover but overall it is in nice condition for a 1912 piece.

The glass lens is in nice condition with only the odd minor nibble to the outer edge.

The signed white dial has a faint hairline crack under the bottom of the sub seconds although hardly noticeable but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original gold hands and blued steel sub seconds hand.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
