The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a 15-jewel Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The dial is signed with the name Vesta – the brand name Vesta was registered in 1922 by Fils de Moise Dreyfuss / Rotary SA.

The watch is a very good size for a watch of this period at 34.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for London (import mark), 1925, with an importer's mark for Sylvain Dreyfuss. The case is in good condition with just a couple of “dings” to the back.

Rotary Watches Ltd was established at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, by Moise Dreyfuss in 1895. By the 1920s family members Georges and Sylvain Dreyfuss began importing Rotary watches to Britain, which was to become the company's most successful market.

The watch glass is in lovely condition.
The dial has fantastic Art Deco styling, including the stylised numbers, shaped blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
