Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1850s.
Made to the highest standard throughout, the mahogany case has a lovely rich original patina with brass inlay to the bottom half of the case and a brass surround to the glazed opening though which the pendulum can be seen working.

It has a convex glass and a heavy, cast brass bezel.
A 12" white painted dial with black Roman numerals and finely cut hands and signed with the makers name.
The 8 day, quality fusee movement has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12 mths. parts and labour guarantee.
