Antique Silver Omega Pocket Watch and Chain

The watch has a stem-winding movement, calibre 18LB, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Omega and the serial number 5,599,469 dates it back to around 1920. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for London (import mark), 1919 with an importer's mark SA for Selling Agency, watch importers, and also the early Omega mark. The case is in good condition and the engine turned detail to the back is still nice and crisp. There are ornate initials to the central cartouche.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The signed dial is in good condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a silver single albert, 32cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

The watch and chain will be sent in an antique presentation box from a Guildford jewellers.
