The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name Polhem. The brand name Polhem was registered on at least three occasions by different companies, two in Sweden and one in Switzerland, but this particular movement ties up to Richard Vogt of Biel in Switzerland who registered the mark in 1928. The movement is protected by an inner cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
