Mid-size 1969 Omega Genève Wrist Watch

Mid-size 1969 Omega Genève wrist watch.

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 601, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name and it also has the serial number 28,139,776 which dates it back to 1969.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition with just the odd light surface marking. The case back has been engraved, 'Michel 3-10-70'. The winding crown is a later plain replacement.

The inside of the case back has the Omega triangular stamp, together with the case reference 131.018 which confirms that the case is correct for the calibre 601 movement.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has a textured linen pattern in graphite grey dial which is in its original finish. Original hands, centre seconds and outer minute markers.

A new Hirsch leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
