The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 54mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case would originally have been plated but this has bee polished back to the brass base metal. The case is in good condition and the engine turned detail is still nice and crisp.

The glass is in good condition.
The signed dial is in very nice condition with original pin-set hands, an outer minute track and an unusual subsidiary seconds dial. The second hand moves anti-clockwise and the numbers also count down in an anti-clockwise direction.
The watch comes with a single chain, 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp, and a fob.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
