The beautiful slim case has a long door with original lock and working key. The smart panelled base has a nicely shaped plinth (base possibly rebuilt). The hood has glazed side panels gilt capitals, a smart fretted cresting and 3 brass ball finials.

The good quality 8 day, 5 pillar movement strikes the hours on a bell. It has a subsidiary seconds dial, date indicator, silvered chapter ring and gilt spandrels.
The movement is in excellent working order, has recently been serviced and is keeping good time. The case is also in good condition and a nice original colour.
