Regency Period Convex Drop Dial Wall Clock

19th century
Description

A smart mahogany drop dial wall clock dating from the Regency period. It is of unusually large size and has a smart 14” convex dial and cast brass bezel. The case is in mahogany with smart brass inlay to the trunk.

It has a good quality single fusee movement with shaped plates.

The maximum dimensions are:

43cm (17“) wide

69cm (27“) high

17cm (6.5“) deep

The movement is in good working order and keeping good time. The case is in good unrestored condition but does have a short length of brass stringing missing, however as this on the curved base of the trunk it is not very noticeable when on the wall.

We can post the clock at your risk but would prefer to ship by courier. We offer free local delivery (50mls) and can arrange national and international delivery at cost. Alternatively you are welcome to collect from our shop (by appointment)
