The good quality 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell.
It also has the all-important strike/silent selector to the arch. As you would expect from a good London clock it also has brass cased weights.
The case is in excelent condition and has retained its original finish and is a lovely colour. The movement has recently been serviced, is in good working order and keeping good time. There is small piece of the RH spandrel to the arch missing (see picture of dial)
