The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is plated and it is in very nice condition. There are German military DH (Deutsches Heer, Germany Army) markings to the case back so it would appear that this ex-military watch has been adapted, following the end of WW2, for the civilian market by adding a conventional dial and hands. The other pointers that indicate this was indeed a military watch are the fixed lugs and the early shockproofing.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has some faint marking but not too detrimental at all.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a vintage Helvetia presentation box.
