Description

Gents 1950s Liga wristwatch from the Swiss company Fabrique d'Horlogerie Liga SA.

The watch has a 25-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely, an ETA 2452 which was the base calibre for the Tudor 2484.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and overall the condition is good with just surface marks from use, and some scratches to the back from where the case back has been removed in the past.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original dauphine shaped hands, centre seconds and an early quickset date (initially set by moving the hands repeatedly between 1am to 9pm).

The watch comes on a stainless steel bracelet, it currently fits a 19cm wrist although there is capacity on the clasp to make it 2cm smaller.
