1950s mid-size Waltham wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, grade 1155, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Waltham Watch Co, seventeen, 17 jewels, Swiss.

The watch itself measures 27.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 27.5mm high excluding the lugs so it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is 10ct rolled gold filled and it is signed inside the case back Waltham Pioneer stainless back. The case has light surface marking from use and light wear to the back of the lugs.

The curved glass lens is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The signed dial is in its original finish and has some surface marking between 7 & 8 o'clock although hardly noticeable to the naked eye but otherwise the dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original gold hands.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
