Description

Gents 18ct rose gold Chronographe Suisse wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, Landeron 48, which was made from 1937 all the way through to 1970 so a very popular movement. It is working nicely and is protected by an inner metal cover which has some scratching.

The watch measures 37mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 18ct rose gold and there are Continental hallmarks on the back of the watch. There is unevenness to the case back.

The lens has a light scratch but it is quite difficult to see with the naked eye.

The signed dial is in its original finish and there is a little marking and a shade of darkening but still easy to read the time.

A later leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
