Antique Silver Pocket Watch Retailed by a Smith & Son Croydon.

Description

Antique silver pocket watch retailed by A Smith & Son Croydon.

The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed A Smith & Son, Croydon, and it is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 53mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case backs for Birmingham 1894 with a maker's mark for the case maker William Ehrhardt. The case is in good condition with just light surface marking, nothing serious at all.

The watch glass is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark from use.

The dial is in good condition.

The watch has its original gold hands and blued steel sub seconds hand.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
